Один из лучших фильмов о войне, что я видела. О войне с внешним врагом, с внутренним врагом, о войне с самим собой.

It very accurately portraits symbolism of martyr acts and intrinsic motives of the “chosen ones”. The more important is that it brings about an argument about a fusion of an occupier and a victim of occupation in one face, whereas one role reinforces the other.

 Do the martyrs have a choice? Practically, they have choice to live or to die; however, they have no choice concerning bring any meaning to their lives in the refugee camp, where the movie’s action takes place. Is this an honourable way to live for a man, especially in the Arabic culture of “super-masculinity”?
